We are happy to announce that we have just released a new version of our popular Unity Augmented Reality SDK, called CraftAR Unity SDK 3.0.
We have received many requests from our loyal users, so we’re extremely glad to enable support for Unity 5.1-5.3, coupled with our most up-to-date AR tracking capabilities.
The CraftAR Unity Augmented Reality SDK (supports Android and iOS platforms) allows you to create Image Recognition (IR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications, using the CraftAR service together with Unity3D.
The SDK allows you to perform all the regular features of our Augmented Reality SDK with the advantages of using Unity3D: advanced rendering and user interactions with the AR contents.
Some of the features packed in the SDK include:
The Unity AR SDK comes with an editor plugin, allowing you to publish your scenes to CraftAR with the push of a button, without ever leaving the Unity Editor.

Now comes the best & most awaited part – announcing what exactly is new!
The new CraftAR Unity SDK 3.0 (available since March 1st 2016 upon download from our website) supports Unity 5.1-5.3 and includes several bug fixes.
It also includes our updated CraftAR Augmented Reality SDK 4.0 that supports iOS and Android platforms (see the related documentation):
Visit our CraftAR Unity SDK documentation center for information on all the features, help on how to use our Unity SDK to build an app, example code, requirements, release history and more.
Please note that AssetBundles created with earlier versions of Unity that are not be compatible with Unity 5.3 may have compatibility issues with our CraftAR Unity SDK 3.0. If you created items with AssetBundles hosted in CraftAR with an older version of the SDK, you will need to upload the items again for them to work with Unity 5.3.
